Hello!
It has been awhile since I’ve needed to ask for help – I have been so pleased with Deadline Responsive for my site and get lots of compliments– so thank you!
I do have a few things I need to take care of (I’ve been avoiding this because I’ve just been wanting to post about pretty things and not work the mechanics, lol.) But, I figured I should take the time now to fix it.
I have noticed that my tabbed widget that is supposed to pull my “Recent” posts does not update. Is there a way to fix this? The same posts have been sitting there for a month.
The photos in my RSS Feed do not shrink down to size when viewing in the feed. Is there something I can do to udpate this? ( http://feeds.feedburner.com/VanityRouge ) I had previously posted that the featured image wasn’t pulling to show in my RSS, so I entered the code that I was given, and that worked. I was also given a code to resize the photos but I could not get it to work so I thought I’d see if there was another way to do this.
When I click on a category from my menu and it takes me to the list of posts (example: http://vanityrouge.com/vanity-picks/) I have previously modified it from its original state so that half of the photo was not covered with a grey block so this is why it looks different. Ideally, I would like to have the words white, with a black bar at the bottom of the post (so you could read the white words) so it would indicate that it is to be clicked on. At this point it look rather jumbled and not very professional, so any help would be much appreciated. If necessary, I could revert it back to the way it was originally designed, but I would need to know how to make the part covering the photo black (instead of grey) and the words white.
Is there a way to expand the number of post in the Deadline Responsive Categories widget? For example, you can see on this page where I have placed the widget it only lists the first few but there are no buttons to get to more posts. http://vanityrouge.com/reviews-2/
There might be more, but in the mean time, thank you for all of your help!
